Recently the two Mia's spent an afternoon with the Double Helix Club from Darwin CSIRO. They had a great time doing all science related things.
They mixed bi carb with vinegar to make a small container fly into the air
and they filled a bottle with water, placed it on the pipe and then using a bike pump filled it with air until it blasted into the sky and water went everywhere. Good fun and the guys from Darwin put on a great variety of activities for the kids.
