INVERCARGILL TO DUNEDIN

I drove to Dunedin today, it's not that far from Invercargill but it still took me all day.
I found lots of side roads that lead to some lovely scenery.

Above is a petrified forest, apparently these are tree's or were tree's

I went on lots of walks to Lakes along stunning rain forest paths like this one. Sometimes i was the only person on these walks and it was so peaceful.
Dunedin is large but not scary. Thanks to my Navman i navigate the city easily. Dunedin has a strong Scottish heritage which is visable everywhere. Around the corner from the hotel is the Cadbury factory, you can smell the chocolate through the window. Weather is cold and very windy, i have had to wear gloves, and they call this summer ? Ciao from Dunedin
