MANCHESTER, ENGLAND 5th January 2013
No pictures, don't know why really...i haven't taken a picture all day, tomorrow will be better I'm heading into the countryside. Today i didn't hop a plane but i will, instead i caught the train to Manchester. Its colder here tonight. After arriving i spent the day walking the city but i have to say that Manchester doesn't do it for me so i went to the movies instead and saw The Impossible about the boxing day tsunami. Brilliant, loved it, cried probably because its a true story. Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor were wonderful and the 3 boys who played their sons fantastic. Manchester is just full of people and its not nice trying to walk around. There is no tourist bus although they have a free bus that does a city loop. I don't know what it is about the place but it just doesn't give off a nice vibe. I plan on taking the train into the country tomorrow and see if i can find something to take a picture of. I'm feeling very lethargic at the moment, i just had a lovely meal at the hotel where I'm staying and a beer so that's probably why. I'm off to bed now. Its 8.35pm here on Saturday night, I'm such a party animal. Its 6am in Katherine and no doubt Suzanne will be getting up and turning her computer on, so goodnight from me and good morning to you guys kiss to Riley, Mia and Diva dog. miss you .

Had to wash Diva yesterday she smelt like rotten eggs...she has obviously found something nice for doggies to roll in...also not happy to find a package on our bedroom floor yesterday morning .... not sure which dog to blame! But serves us right for sleeping in untii 9:30am!
We went to the movies in berlin as well. The Hobbit in 3 D. I really enjoyed it. Looks like England has better weather than where we are! Hane not seen the sun in ages... We are in Prague at present. Just using your blog Amanda, to let people know where we are. Still not into facebook as you can see. Today we are having a really late start. It is already lunchtime and some people are still having breakfast. A bit harder to get going with 5 people, three of them being teenagers. Oh well, you need a sleep in now and again. Amanda, I love your photos! Don't know if I can keep up with the quality you are offering... Will bore you with my 5 million photos when we see you back home. Cheers, keep on having fun! Anna
Glad to hear your having fun too Anna...our weather has been not so nice here either but on the other extreme STINKING HOT! and NO RAIN!
Hardly stepped outside at all the last few days. Must organise a proper photo viewing night... I didn't get to see your last lot of photo's Anna.
