Oxford, England 12th November 2009
First off thank you to everyone who has left comments, we are reading them and we love reading them...its good to know whats happening back home. below is 3 days worth of posts, counting this one. sorry for not updating every night but sometimes it just depends on the Internet connection, at the moment i have a good one so I'll be doing a lot on here tonight. Today we left London on a train, 48 pounds for the 3 of us. We are now in Oxford and its really beautiful. We've walked everywhere and now we are staying at the YHA which is lovely, very clean and modern. I also hired a car today here in Oxford, its a Ford Focus diesel !! diesel ? anyway its a manual which is taking me a bit of getting used to. The traffic is horrendous and this afternoon when driving around, i panicked a bit and just kept driving....right off the map !! eventually found a spot to turn around and we were able to get back to the YHA with out incident. I'm sure tomorrow will be better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i don't have any pictures from today but the next post will have some. I'm off now to put our washing in the dryer. Tomorrow we are headed for the Cotswolds, that is if i can find my way out of Oxford..my bedtime reading tonight will be the pile of maps i've got. Cold today but not as cold as it has been, almost balmy ! its raining now though. It's nice to be out of London and in the countryside.
