I SOLD MY CHILDREN...is that bad ?

Tuesday 10th November London, England
More walking today but not as much as yesterday. Today we walked over to Marble Arch and caught the bus to Madame Tussuad's Wax museum. We spent about 2 hours in there and it was fantastic, we had a lot of fun, some of it silly but then like Riley said “ nobody knows us over here.
After leaving Madames we hopped back on the bus which was just about to pull away when we got to it...what is it with me and buses ?
This is Riley standing on London Bridge, freezing but he wanted a pic of him wearing his Sydney Swans shirt.
This time we stayed on it till we got to Tower Bridge then we went on a river cruise up the Thames for 20 minutes, very nice. We hopped on another bus at Big Ben and rode back to Marble Arch where we had to change buses for one to Knightsbridge. We always sit in the open on the top deck because it's a great view from up there, we end up with frozen faces and in my case serious wind blown hair...i always look a fright, but its worth it for the view. The bus crew are getting to know us because when the kids walked towards them at Marble Arch I heard them say “ hello kids, back again...where's your mum ? Ah here she is, how are the legs today ole girl “ From here we rode another bus to Harrods department store. Harrods is the store, nothing comes close. It is absolutely beautiful and we walked around with our mouths open. We bought dinner in the food hall which we took back to the hotel with us and some yummy Harrods lollies. When we came outside it was dark, 4.30pm so we started walking back to the hotel which was on the other side of Hyde Park. After 10mins it started to rain and none of the buses were going in our direction so Riley waved down a London cab..the old fashion black one, the kids loved that. Now we are laying around the room and planning tomorrows activities, its our last day in London tomorrow. Plan A is to do some washing at the laundromat then walk across Hyde Park to the British Museum of Natural History, then walk over to Notting Hill and maybe go to the movies to see A Christmas Carol with Jim Carrey. The best part of today for Mia – going to the wax museum and seeing Miley Cyrus. Riley – wax museum, at the end you go for a ride in a London cab around the museum and he liked posing with the stars. Mum – wax museum, walking through Harrods and riding the bus all over town.
Its now 7pm and nearly time for bed ! It was a very dull day today, no sunshine and bitterly cold, the temp didn't go over 7 degree all day. The kids and I wear so many clothes we look like the Michelin family, its hard to climb stairs ! Here are some pics of our day. These were taken at the wax museum.
This one is for Bruce, Riley said he would love it as he likes watching Little Britain which makes me shake my head in wonder !
We ran into Angelina and Brad who took a shine to Riley and Mia so for a small fee i let them go, the adoption is final in 2 weeks..sorry Bruce but i'm sure they will let you visit...Riley looks pretty pleased ! Having off loaded them i was now free to persue other interests and look what i found ! aint he pretty ? He is just how i always imagined....speechless and unable to run away !
We had a lot of fun at Madame Tussards.

Mia and Michael Jackson, she put the hat on and got right into it, so did Riley...very funny watching them
The Hulk..he was no match for six pack Riley !!

George and Amanda hey? Has a very nice ring to it! You look like the cat that finally got the cream! Did you get down to the dungeon? I found that really scarry. Glad you liked the Natural History Museum. Chris used to work there. He was the electrician who did all the lighting displays for the exhibits. Once he was setting up a display inside a glass case when two old ladies went by and said "look Humanus Bottomus". He also "met" Princess Dianna. I say met as he only got to see her in the distance as he was being accosted by her security guards because he came unexpectedly through a hidden doorway. He did get to smell her perfume from the other side of the room though - so close enough. I'm really enjoying reading your blog - brings back great memories but it is also making my feet itch for some adventure! Make sure your next update isn't too long away. I'm travelling with you in spirit!
